Why in News? | BIMSTEC Youth Summit 2025 will be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 7th to 11th February 2025. It is organized by the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the summit on 8th February 2025. The theme is "Youth as a Bridge for Intra-BIMSTEC Exchange." Key sessions include "Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue X BIMSTEC" and discussions on Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) initiative. Delegates will visit Dandi Kutir, Sabarmati Ashram, Sabarmati Riverfront, and GIFT City. The summit aims to align youth efforts with SDGs 2030 and India's Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. |
