CoordinationCoordinated by the Department of Fisheries (DoF) under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. CMFRI is the nodal agency, and Fishery Survey of India (FSI) is the operational partner.
ObjectiveTo create a comprehensive digital database of marine fishing communities, infrastructure, and socio-economic indicators. Improve fisheries management and welfare delivery through verified digital data.
IntegrationLink fishers with the National Fisheries Digital Platform (NFDP) for streamlined access to government schemes. Facilitate better implementation of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana (PM-MKSSY) and Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).
Digitised Data CollectionUses VyAS Bharat for Data Capture and Geo-referencing and VyAS Sutra for Verification and Monitoring. Ensures accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in real-time data collection.
