Over 3 years after completion, Wall of Peace mural thrown open in Kerala

• The Wall of Peace, a great work of modern mural art on the 700-foot-long compound wall of Government Vocational Higher Secondary School at Cherpulassery, was inaugurated recently.

About the mural

• Dimensions & material: In dimmed golden shade, done with cement and sand on the 10-ft-high wall.
• Accolade won: including the Eurasia World Record for the largest public art project.
• Embossed word ‘peace’: on the Wall of Peace in 250 world languages.
