Unique ‘Winter Tales festival’ begins in Shillong

• On day 1 of the festival saw an array of handcrafted art and designs by local and international artists.
• The Meghalaya Chief Minister also announced that the festival will be held as a calendar event every year.

• The festival also aims to help the small-time entrepreneurs in the state, by promoting all local attributes of enterprises, working in the field of art and craft, food or music.
